THIS PROGRAM AIMS TO IDENTIFY AND SUPPORT SPONSOR GROUPS, WITH THE GOAL OF SUPPORTING 625 IMMIGRANTS BY 2025.
Globally, many LGBTQI+ folk endure unimaginable hardships just for being their authentic selves. Through the Refugee 25 Program, Refuge America extends a lifeline to those in need, helping them escape violence and oppression, as well as helping make their journey to safety as seamless as possible.
This program works via Welcome Corps, a refugee sponsorship initiative under the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP).
Through Welcome Corps, groups of at least five U.S. citizen or permanent resident adults, support newly arrived refugees by securing and preparing initial housing and other needs to ensure they are prepared for life in America.
